All course participants will work for a startup or a VC during the summer. The requirement is a minimum of 3 months full time work.

You will also be organising a workshop at the company you are interning with and participate in workshops held by other course members. This way you will not only learn from the company you are working with, but also the companies that other course members are working with.

Once you are selected to the second phase of the application process you will need to secure an internship for the summer if you haven’t done so yet. The companies applicable for Aalto Fellows internships are: venture-backed high growth startups, venture capital funds, as well as for profit accelerator and corporate venturing programs.

You can start your job hunt already now if you wish. If you are already working for a startup or VC fund you are more than welcome to complete the internship at your current company. Just keep in mind that the company has to commit to hosting one workshop during summer and to letting you participate in the course events (intensive weeks, workshops, and the study trip).
